We connect LEAP, Smokeball and Microsoft 365 so your team can search every matter, precedent and email in one place. Answers link to the source document. Staff only see matters they already have access to. Data stays in Australia.

Q: Which retail lease advices mention a cap on outgoings?
Three documents found across two matters. The most recent is the advice to Smith dated 12 March 2024, clause 4. Links below. Nothing is filed or sent without a lawyer's approval.

One search over all your matters

Most firms keep matters in LEAP, documents in SharePoint, correspondence in Outlook and old files in scans. We link all of it by matter number, then give your team one place to search.

File cleanup

We scan paper files, fix inconsistent file names, pull out matter numbers and remove duplicate precedents. A receipt, a costs agreement and an advice end up attached to the same matter, even when the wording differs.

Fixed-price pilot

A two-week audit, then a six-week pilot for one practice group, then ongoing support. Fixed quote before each step. No open-ended projects.

Matter permissions respected Every answer links to its source Your files never train a model Audit log and lawyer approval

The jobs that eat a junior's week

Internal use only. A lawyer reviews anything before it goes near a client file.

Precedents

Find the right precedent

Search by clause, matter type, author and date, not just by file name. The last three retail lease advices with a particular special condition, in one query.

Handover

Catch up on a matter

A new fee earner gets the key facts, documents, dates and anything missing in one summary. No digging through someone else's inbox.

Email

Emails linked to matters

Correspondence that was never saved into LEAP is matched to its matter by number, parties and dates. It shows up when you search.

Intake

First file note

A draft file note, document checklist and conflict search preparation from the initial documents, ready for the lawyer to check.

Review

Pull out the key terms

Parties, dates, renewal and termination terms and obligations extracted from a lease or contract into a review summary. Not advice. A starting point.

Policies

Answer "what is our rule for this?"

Firm policies, trust account procedures and Law Institute guidance searchable in one place, with a link to the page the answer came from.

Why not just use Copilot or LEAP's own AI?

Both are good at what they cover. LEAP's Matter AI reads the documents filed inside one matter at a time. Copilot reads SharePoint and Outlook, and works well when folders are tidy and permissions are right. Neither one links a SharePoint document, an unfiled email and a LEAP matter together, and neither one cleans up ten years of inconsistent filing first. That linking and cleanup is what we do. Once it is done, your existing tools work better too.

LEAP or Smokeball AI

Searches one matter at a time. Only sees what was saved into the matter. Cannot search your precedent folder or across matters.

Microsoft Copilot

Searches SharePoint and Outlook. Does not know which folder belongs to which matter. Can surface one client's documents while you work on another if permissions are loose.

Search that understands matters

A receipt and an advice letter share almost no words, but they belong to the same matter. Ordinary search misses that. We match documents on matter number, client, parties and dates as well as on wording.

  • Attach receipts, advices and emails to their matter
  • Mark the current version of each precedent
  • Tighten permissions where they are loose

What partners ask first

Not the free websites. The Victorian Legal Services Board says confidential client information should not go into public chatbots. We run the same models inside Australian data centres under business contracts that switch off training and data retention, and we filter by matter permissions before the model sees anything.

The system is built to support your existing obligations, not replace them. Staff only see matters they already have access to. Data stays in Australia under a data processing agreement. Every answer links to its source. A lawyer approves anything before it is filed or sent. Every question is logged. Your lawyers remain responsible for what they rely on.

LEAP, Smokeball, Actionstep, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, and folders of scanned or old files. If a document carries a matter number, or we can work one out from its contents, we can link it.

The audit takes two weeks, the pilot takes six weeks for one practice group, and support is monthly after that. Everything is fixed price. We confirm the quote after the fit call, once we know how many documents and systems are involved.

No. It takes the searching and handover work off their plate so they spend more time on the file. Anything that goes to a client still needs a lawyer's review.

Built for firms with 10 to 40 staff

Intergraite is a small Melbourne practice run by Emerson. We work with suburban law firms in family, property, wills and estates, personal injury and migration. We do not sell chatbots. We do the slow work of cleaning up files and linking them to matters so that search actually works.

One practice group at a time. Fixed scope and fixed price. A lawyer approves everything before it touches a client file.

Talk to us

Every answer links to the document and clause it came from. If the answer is not in your files, the system says so rather than guessing.

Your lawyers do not change how they save files. We adapt to your filing, and one admin spends a few minutes a week on the exceptions.

A 30-minute call to see if this fits your firm

Tell us your practice area, firm size and systems. We will tell you whether we can help and what we would do first. If we are not the right fit, we will say so.
